Rules of Discipline
Discipline and Code of Conduct: The school upholds a strict discipline and code of conduct for all its students. Any irregular attendance, habitual inattention to school work, obscenity in work or act, insubordination to school authorities, transgressions of the rules given in this diary, cheating, or any other misconduct is not tolerated. Any behavior that is considered by the Principal not suitable to the good tone and general good of the school is sufficient reason for punishment, fine, or even dismissal of the offender. The school expects all its students to abide by these rules and regulations to maintain a healthy and positive learning environment.
Classroom Etiquette and Maintenance: Students are responsible for any damage done to school property and are required to make it good. Classrooms should be kept tidy and attractive, and scribbling on furniture or walls is strictly forbidden. The class captain should ensure that lights and fans are switched off when leaving the classroom and waste paper is disposed of in the bins provided. During the transition period between teachers leaving and arriving in the classroom, students should not engage in idle talk or create disturbance, but rather wait in silence for the teacher's arrival and stand up to greet them.
Procurement of Books and Maintenance of School Diary: Students are expected to procure all the required textbooks and other necessary materials within a week of the declaration of results. Additionally, every student should maintain a school diary and make proper entries in it regularly. It is mandatory for students to bring their school diaries to school every day, as it contains important information and serves as a means of communication between the school and parents/guardians.
Personal Hygiene and Conduct: Students are expected to maintain personal hygiene and dress tidily. They should take pride in their appearance and maintain scrupulous body cleanliness. Students are also expected to be respectful and obliging to their elders and companions. In the classroom, they should pay attention to cleanliness and personal bearing and create an atmosphere conducive to serious study.
Student Movement within School Premises: Students are not permitted to leave the school premises during class time without the Principal’s permission. Celebration of Birthdays and parties in school is not permitted. Students are only allowed to leave the classroom with the teacher's permission and a pass/out pass. Students are not allowed to receive visitors or to make or receive telephone calls during the class hours except for serious reasons. All correspondence should be addressed to the Principal. When writing, quote the student’s full name, class and section.
Parental Involvement and Communication: To ensure uninterrupted learning, parents are kindly requested to avoid disturbing the class during school hours. Parent-teacher meetings are scheduled during the academic year, and in case of any emergency, meetings can be arranged on working Saturdays between 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
